A baby’s car seat is more essential than their diaper bag or favorite toy; you can’t go anywhere without one!
Parents research the internet, ask sales associates many questions and consult other friends and family members when it comes to purchasing the best car seat they can afford for their little one. Once this is all done and the car seat gets pulled out of the box Mom and Dad are baffled again scratching their heads asking themselves, “How am I supposed to install this?!!!” For most people installing a car seat and understanding the manual is considered harder then learning Mandarin! Most would agree that understanding car seats and installing them can be baffling.
That is why on Saturday December 7th the Safety Superstore will be having an Free Car Seat Clinic. You are required to come into the store to fill out the necessary paperwork and get a number to ensure your spot for the clinic. You will then be directed to the area where the clinic will take place. Our clinics do not require an appointment, just drop in between the hours of 11:00am – 2:00pm!
The Child Passenger Safe Association of Canada (CPSAC) and our own certified Safety Superstore Installers will be here installing car seats. James Fitzpatrick, Child Passenger Safety Advocate, will be here available to install your seat and able to answer all of your car seat related questions or concerns. The car seat clinic will be held in the front parking lot of our new Oakville location, 2501 Hyde Park Gate, Unit 1D. No need to worry, we are just on the other side of Dundas. We are in the Tim Horton’s Plaza, next to Carter’s/Osh Kosh.
